創文也有一個方向，是用文學角度來對外傳福音，作福音預工，希望能接觸一般教會接觸不到的族群。比如在大陸或台灣一些校園內，開生命或心靈建設的課。
也對一些文學團體開講座，或用基督教文學來與不同文學做比較,像《生命的重，靈魂的慟—悲劇文學初探索》等。或者用信仰的角度來讀文學，比如說中國古典小說四大奇書的講座，以及《入武林、覓真心──金庸武俠世界探奇》。
這樣性質的講座可以幫助創文身先示範如何走入文化，用文學來交流信仰。也可以開發各樣有創意的方式來呈現「道成肉身」的信仰。
Pre-evangelical Outreach
One of GCWMI’s ministries is pre-evangelism through literature. We hope to reach out to those unchurched individuals by providing literature appreciation and life inspiring classes on campuses in the mainland China or Taiwan.
The Institute sponsors “Literature Appreciation” classes for various literary groups teaching the readers to appreciate tragic literature or Chinese classics with a faith perspective.
Through those classes or seminars, GCWMI strives to engage culture and people of Christian faith in dialogue in all areas of cultural endeavor, including history, music, literature, and the arts. By so doing, the Institute hopes to embody the spirit of “word became flesh” in all forms of creativity.
